Added Firestats to wordpress, and found that it won’t even be called to task if wp-cache is in action. It’s a queued request (link) for Firestats, but apparently there are more in the list.

Eager to try Firestats for a few days, I ended up disabling wp-cache for now. The Firestats ajax interface looks nifty. Wordpress users - give it a try!
